Resources and Relationships - Apr. 2025 NL

Working with leaders in other countries is always a learning experience. Sherri and I have been overseas for a total of a full month so far this year—8 days in Panama (February) and 22 days in Brazil (March/April). During our trips we primarily visit the many local church leaders that we work with in an ongoing basis. Missio Global truly partners with these ministry leaders and we have known many of them for years. We always gain insight and experience from them as well.

So how does Missio Global partner with these churches and ministries? First, we provide valuable and effective equipping resources, including several discipleship booklets, books for leaders, a three-year church-based School of Ministry, and even church planting resources! Over 120 churches in 16 nations are making disciples and training leaders in their own Missio Global School of Ministry, right in their church in their language. Combined among all Schools, well over 2,000 disciples and leaders are being equipped by their own church leaders. This is true multiplication!!

The second valuable aspect that Missio Global offers is less apparent, but just as vital—we offer relationship with church leaders. Few people realize how isolated and even lonely many church leaders can be. Through our travels, as well as through our regional representatives, Missio Global offers a helping hand PLUS a listening ear and encouraging words with pastors and leaders. We also facilitate relationships between the pastors of churches that utilize our equipping resources. We will continue to grow in both the resources we offer as well as the relationships we develop and encourage.
